Yes — I Buy & Appraise Magic: The Gathering Collections

Local to Central Illinois. Use the tool below for an instant estimate, then I'll follow up with a firm offer — you'll hear back from me, the owner, not a bot.

No pressure, no obligation

See what it's worth — then you decide

Getting a number costs you nothing. Here's exactly how it goes once you send your list.

A firm offer back

I review your list and verify the standout cards, then email a firm offer. Take it or leave it — no obligation.

In person or by mail

Local? Meet up and hand them over. Farther out? Ship them in and I'll verify condition and authenticity before quoting.

Paid the same day

Accept the offer and you're paid that day — cash in person, or same-day PayPal if you shipped.

Rather talk it through first? You'll reach me directly — the owner, not a bot.
Questions

Selling Your Collection — FAQ

Straight answers before you send anything. Don't see yours? Email me — it's really me answering.

Is the online estimate my final offer?

No — it's an honest starting point. The tool prices your list against live TCGplayer market data and shows you both numbers, card by card. Your firm offer comes after I review the collection hands-on and verify condition and authenticity. If anything changes between estimate and offer, I'll tell you exactly why.

Do you buy bulk and common cards?

Yes — there's no minimum, and I'll take bulk. One important thing: bulk (roughly anything under $3 a card) is priced at a flat bulk rate, which is completely different from how singles are priced. Tell me up front whether you're offloading bulk or selling an actual list — for bulk, send photos or a rough count first so I can quote it properly.

Do you buy sealed product?

Case by case. Booster boxes, packs, precons — email me what you've got and I'll tell you straight whether I'm interested.

Do you buy Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, or sports cards?

No — Magic: The Gathering only. It's what I know well enough to grade and pay fairly on.

How do I get paid?

Cash when we meet in person. If you shipped your collection in, you're paid by PayPal the same day you accept the offer.

Who pays for shipping?

You cover postage to get the cards to me, and I reimburse your shipping cost once the deal closes and you've been paid out. Pack them well — sleeves and a snug box protect your value.

How do I know what condition my cards are in?

Use the grading guide at the top of this page — it walks through all five TCGplayer condition tiers with the exact flaws that are passable at each grade. In the tool, you set a baseline condition for the collection, and the high-value cards get a quick photo or video check before your firm offer.

Do I have to accept the offer?

Nope. The offer is take-it-or-leave-it with zero pressure — no fees, no obligation, no hard feelings. You'll deal with me, the owner, either way.
