Hi, I’m Javonn. For 15+ years I’ve kept computers, networks, and servers running for schools and major companies — and in January 2026 I brought that experience home to the small businesses and families of Central Illinois. One person, start to finish, who actually answers the phone.
I officially opened 9teen88 in January 2026 — but honestly, it’s been more than 15 years in the making. I started it for a simple reason: I was tired of there being no reliable local option to turn to. Too many good people around here get talked down to, overcharged, or shipped off to an overseas call center. So I set out to bridge that gap — the same enterprise-grade monitoring, security, and maintenance the big companies get, but affordable and completely up front.
What I really want is to wipe out the everyday headaches — the slow computer, the Wi-Fi that won’t reach the back bedroom, that nagging feeling you’re not really protected. And older folks and people who just aren’t “tech people” deserve help too — you’ll never be made to feel dumb for asking. Ever.

Started part-time and worked my way up to running the tech bench (supervisor / MOD) — guiding customers through PC, printer & software buys, building custom PCs, and handling virus removals, setups & tune-ups on hundreds of machines.

Cut my teeth on networks and servers — my proudest build was a WDS/MDT imaging server. Domain joins, cabling, remote help desk, Chromebooks, iPads, Promethean boards, cameras, access points, and the MDF/IDF server rooms.
